well today has already been a good day
aside from finding out that my mp3 player is dead
and i will be musicless for the day.
everything has been quite eventful!

so my school does this thing called symposium that allows the students to pick a project to be a part of and do something really fun and cool, and get benchmarks in the process. its a week long and at the end of it all you have to present your project to people that come-in and judge them. kinda like a science fair, but not all the projects have to do with science.
for example here are a few:
Clay Animation- movies like Coraline, Nightmare before Christmas, Corpse Bride etc.
well you learn how to make the clay and allow it to be animated, how it works in a movie whateverwhatever.
Fashionably Conscious- People talk about fashion that has changed the world, peoples ideas on it, fashion icons whateverwhatever...

theres like a million more i cant think about, but the ones that i am doing are:
Pinhole Photography- you take pictures really fast, cover it back up...? go into the darkroom and develop the pictures. i dont really get it but i'm excited to learn about it, and hopefully have fun in the process too!

everyone can only pick one. buttttttttt, today i managed to sway my teachers to allow me to do two, since the times are different, and work perfectly in my favor :)

the other one i'm doing is pretty cool too. i dont think i'll have as much fun, but its definately something i've been wanting to do since i started going to school here. designing websites! so,

Down with Dudley- is a project that 10 students get to design websites for small buisness' around the Dudley area that need websites to promote there stuff and what-not. it should be fun, and i get paid for doing it too!
i'm just really happy i get the chance to do two, and actually managed to allow the teachers to let me. hopefully its not too hectic since i will be at school all day working on these projects :/

ohh, and the cable and internet have been out at my house for a couple of days noww, my mom refuses to pay it but it will be back on, on Monday.
its amazing how much time i spend on tv+internet in a day. kinda crazy.
but i do have to admit its been pretty nice not having those things to keep me up at night.
i go to sleep on time now, and wake up feeling a lot better.

eh, but it is kinda annoying only being able to blog in tech class, since its the only time i have access to the internet.
whatever! i've lived, and will continue to do so, with or without internet and cable television!

maybe i will take on a little more control when it comes to getting off the net at night, and tunring off the television.. i already have seen the positive effect it can have on me... hmph!
