day one

today i started my printmaking classes!
it was alllllllll pretty awesome.
the kids seem pretty nice, a bit naiive though..
but i can live with it.

its at the cloud place so thats pretty cool too.
i know the building pretty well since i used to go there for my art classes.

the teachers are pretty rad too.
the 'main' teacher i guess i can call him reminds me a lottt like my old supervisor Roberto Chao.
he has this really thick spanish accent and sometimes seems as if hes having trouble trying to patch a sentence together but its cool and so is he.
its weird though. whenever Roberto Chao talked about art and all the possibilities (he was my supervisor for three years when i painted murals, his life would be nothing without ART) he spoke with so much passion, and fascination. This guy is like that too.. its pretty intriguing, i cant explain it, just sucks the listener right in!

the other guy is pretty awesome as well.
Me and him both have the same last name, Baez, so thats quite ironic and interesting.
Hes also a promoter of "Chaos and Anarchy" haha
i can really see myself liking this guy
but all-in-all, i think i'll have fun with this class

on other news.. i was supposed to chill with my gurlies today
but 2/3 of them pulled some funny shit.
that i dont find the least bit amusing.
whatever, i'll see them when i see them.

aside from that, i liked today.
lets just hope for the weather to be a little more pleasent tommorow.
